Our pledge · Diversity, equity, inclusion & social impact

Access to this work should not depend on who you know.

Vanguard Consulting Partners pledges to keep certification, training, and delivery leadership open to the people who have earned a seat, and to say in writing, every year, what we did and where we fell short.

We believe the people who deliver programs should reflect the people those programs serve, and that access to certification and training shouldn't depend on who you know.

PLEDGE / WHAT WE COMMIT TO

Six commitments, in plain language.

These are built into how we teach and how we work, not added after the fact. Each one says what we do, so you can hold us to it.

  1. COMMITMENT 1

    Open doors to certification

Our SAFe® training is open to professionals at every level and background. Analysts, coordinators, team leads, and executives learn in the same room. When an organization books a private class, we encourage them to enroll across levels and roles, not only managers.

  2. COMMITMENT 2

    Skills that translate into promotions

We teach practical skills that carry into promotions and leadership roles: running a backlog, planning an increment, leading a retrospective. Participants work on their own real backlog, not a generic case study.

  3. COMMITMENT 3

    Community before commodity

Every cohort is a network, not a transaction. We build in time for participants to meet, compare notes, and leave with peers as well as a certificate.

  4. COMMITMENT 4

    Representation in delivery

We bring diverse perspectives to the programs we lead: on our delivery teams, among the partners we team with, and in the real examples we teach from.

  5. COMMITMENT 5

    Accessible by design

We deliver virtual-first, so travel cost, location, and caregiving duties are not barriers to a seat. If a participant needs an accommodation in materials, pacing, or format, we work with them to make the class work.

  6. COMMITMENT 6

    Transparency, in writing

Each year we publish a short progress note: what we committed to, what we did, and where we fell short. No invented results, no borrowed credit, no credential we don't hold.

IMPACT / WHERE IT SHOWS UP

Social impact, through the work we already do.

Our impact comes from who gets trained and what stays behind when we leave. These are the places it shows up today.

IMPACT 1

Public-sector workforce capability

Private certification cohorts for agency staff, paired with program work, build skills that stay inside the agency and reduce long-term contractor dependence. We treat that as a goal, not a risk to our own revenue.

IMPACT 2

Direct access for individuals

PMP® exam prep and career mentorship are open to individuals directly, not only through an employer. Professionals whose companies won't sponsor training can still get a seat.

IMPACT 3

Knowledge transfer, by default

We design engagements to hand off capability rather than create dependence. The people we train leave able to run the practice without us.

ACCOUNTABILITY / HOW YOU HOLD US TO IT
